Ermh.. Waktu ari isnin bersamaan 6/10/2008-petang tu pegi jusco ngen kak ja and kak dila. beli2 barang2 makanan. Then me dapat msg from azzad betau nurizan-aku panggil izan meninggal dunia petang itu. heemm.. aku terkedu sebentar. Aku tanya azzad balik, izan ker? then azzad mengesahkan betul izan. Malam tu waktu nak study agak teganggu, mcam teringat kat arwah. Heemm arwah izan sama batch ngen aku waktu foundation. Dier satu kelas ngen azzad sbb dier dak engine. Tapi kami sumer agak rapat. Sbb nyer intake kami waktu tu sikit sgt melayu. Terngiang2 suara arwah izan gelak and wat kelakar.Arwah seorg yang ceria. And arwah mmg pernah menceritakan kondisi kesihatannya kepada aku. Pengalamannya yang ambil spm kat hospital. And kami banyak jugak bercerita dan bergelak ketawa. WAktu degree dier sambung kat cyberjaya. Arwah mengidap SLE-Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. And arwah pernah menrangkan kepada aku camner penyakit dier tu. And sebenarnya ramai tak tau apa itu SLE. Me tau dlm sem ni, arwah tak sihat sgt, tapi tak sangka keadaan dier cronic. Hem, arwah meniggal hari raya ke6 sama ngen minggu dak mmu start exam. Malam nir, 10/10 mmu melaka under usrah institution, ada buat tahlil untuk arwah kat masjid mmu.

heem...Ajal maut semua nyer kerja tuhan. Semoga arwah ditempat kan di tempat org2 beriman dan rohnya dirahmati-Nya. Amin. Al-Fatihah.

What is SLE?
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic, auto-immune disease of unknown cause where the patient's body makes large quantities of blood proteins called anti-bodies that react against the person’s own tissues.

History
Lupus is the Latin word for wolf. Erythematosus means red rashes. In 1851, Dr. Cazenave discovered red rashes on a patient’s face that looked like wolf bites. He named the rash Discoid Lupus Erythematosus (DLE).
In 1885, Sir William Osler recognised that many people with lupus had a disease involving not only the skin but many other organs or systems. He named the disease Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

Types of Lupus
Discoid Lupus Erythematosus (DLE)
• Only involves the skin
• Rarely spreads to other organs

Systematic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
• Can spread to other organs
• Can be fatal

Statistics
About 90% of SLE sufferers are women while about 10% are men and children.
About 90% of women with SLE are in their childbearing years, within the range of 15 to 50 years old.

In Malaysia, it is estimated that more than 10,000 people have been diagnosed with SLE over the past 30 years. However, this number may be only the tip of the iceberg. The Malaysian SLE Association believes that there are many more SLE sufferers in Malaysia who have not been diagnosed.
